The Everest

The Everest is the highest mountain in the world, it has an altitude of 8.848 meters, we can find it in Himalaya, between Nepal and China, the name was in honor to the geographer George Everest in 1.865.

The first ascension was the 29 of May of 1.953, the persons who did it was Edmund Hillary and Tenzing Norgay.

In 1.960, the Government of Nepal realized what the Everest hasn't got a nepali name, so the country invented one new, Sagarmatha, created by Baduram Acharya.

In 2.002, chinese newspaper published an article about the use of the english name in the West.

Tommy Hilfiger

Thomas Jacob Hilfiger is the second of nine sons, he was born in United State, the 24 of march in 1.951, actually he has 64 years.

In 1.960, he started to work like hippie clothing seller, later, at 70's - 80's he worked in Jordache.

He created his own company in 1.985, but his business was not well know.

In 15 of March in 2.010, Phillips-Van Heusen bought the company for $3.000 milions.

The Olympic Games

The Olimpic Games is the most important international sporting event in the world. Exist two types of sports: Winter Games and Summer Games, it realice every two years.

The first game was made in Athens, the capital of Greece, the 6 of April in 1.896.

Cinema

The cinema is an art to create images in moviment to make a video. My favourite singer, Sia

Sia was born in Adelaida, in 18 of December of 1.975, her full name is Sia Kate Isobelle Furler. She study in the primary school of the North Adelaide. Her father. Phil B. Colson was music and her mother Loene Furler was singer, music and professor of art. The people discover her amazing voice in a karaoke in Italy. Later, she return to the university when she finished to record a song with a DJ, but she hate it and she left it.

In 2.000 she lived in London and act in choirs of Jamiroquai, a band of jaaz from britany. In 2.001, she did her second album, a electric mixture of R&B and jazz, what is was welcome by critics.

Weekend with my family

I went with my godfather, her wife and my brother at the shopping centre. We started to buy clothes like T-shirts, shorts... etc. All the shops was fantastic! When we finished, found a restaurant where we ate. The foood was delicious. After that, we wanted to go at the cinema, we saw "Lucy", the film was awesome, really entertaining, the film finished, and we decide to walk around the centre. It was a sunny day, so we wore sunnyglasses and caps. Mylittle cousin wanted to go to a park what it was near of us, we played all the play with him. He was so happy!

Nobel prize
